剧情：　　你的生活中，有私底下引以为豪，却不敢拿出来显的绝活吗？NBC从今年6月21日起开始播出一部选秀节目——America’s Got Talent，将给全美国的才艺达人秀出自己的机会，任何有一技之长，认为可以到舞台上一展丰姿的人，都将有机会参与，并最终闯入决赛，与众多好手争夺百万赏金。 America’s Got Talent的制作公司是以制作优质剧集和真人秀见长的Frementle制作公司，由家喻户晓的、FOX播出的选秀节目《美国偶像》的制作人Simon Cowell领衔制作，由于他世人皆知的唱片公司董事身份，仍将有人抱着签约BMG的希望前来。 节目在派拉蒙设于洛衫矶的大片厂举行，主持人是夜间脱口秀的传奇人物雷基·菲礼宾（Regis Philbin）（《雷基夜谈》 《谁想成为百万富翁》的主持人）初选主要制度是简单的评委制，三位评委依照服从多数原则淘汰选手，因此每组选手在努力表演同时要综合考虑三位评委的口味方可过关。总决赛进行全美直播，观众投票，冠军将获得一百万美元奖金，名利双收。
