剧情：PLAY!」は金髪にピアス、見た目はヤンチャなeスポーツビギナーの郡司翔太と、けがによってバスケットボールをあきらめた天才ゲーマー・田中達郎を中心にした物語。翔太は学校の壁に貼られた「“全国高校eスポーツ大会”メンバー大募集」という勧誘ポスターに惹かれ、1学年先輩の達郎に連絡する。達郎は1チーム3人編成のロケットリーグにエントリーするため、Vチューバー好きのクラスメイトを強引に誘い、チーム「アンダードッグス（かませ犬）」を結成。本来なら学校生活で交わることのなかった3人は、次第に競技に魅せられ、練習を重ね、東京での決勝戦を目指す。
